- Learn to Play Guitar - If you are learning the guitar as a beginner, as a slightly more advanced player or as someone coming back to playing the guitar, you can appreciate how frustrating it is learning the skills and techniques without seeing any noticeable results. The time and effort that many put into exercises don’t seem to be reflected in their standard of playing. There also seems to be a frustration in the lack of quality information on the market.
- Classical Music Online - When our classical music radio station in Detroit closed down, I was absolutely devastated. Here I was, in a major city, and there was no way for me to listen to classic music on the radio in the car. Most cities had two classical stations at least, and at one point Detroit had as well. Don't get me wrong – public radio still played a lot of classical composers, but only during certain programs. Much of the time, I would have to bring my own CDs with me if I wanted to hear classical compositions.
- Audio Mixer - I have been playing with music production software ever since I downloaded a trial version of Cool Edit way back in high school. It was kind of clunky, but I absolutely adored it. I suddenly had a powerful program in my hands the could do all kinds of musical things that I had never imagined possible. I could synthesize my own tones, give them different ambiences and effects, layer multiple tracks on top of each other, play things backwards – you name it. By the standards of today's best music production software, It wasn't very powerful, but at the time it absolutely blew me away.

- Elvis Presley - The word, legend is perhaps overused but no one would dispute the title, when applied to Elvis Presley. He revolutionized popular music and became an icon for millions of people. Born in a humble house in Tupelo, Mississippi to poor parents in 1935, the family later moved to Memphis. Presley had taken an interest in music at an early age and learned to play the guitar. He went to blues clubs in the city and loved what he heard.
- Buying Cheap Electric Guitars - If you are thinking about learning a musical instrument, you have to make some hard choices right off the bat. The first one is how much you want to spend. A lot of people think that if you are starting off you should buy a cheap electric guitar, but this isn't always the case. The problem is that if you buy a lower quality instrument, it will be harder to play and will not sound as good. Many cheap electric guitars are not very well designed. That doesn't mean that you can't find one that is. If you know what to look for, you can find a low-cost electric guitar that will still help you shred like a guitar god.
- The evolution of Guitar Music - There has been a long love affair with the guitar, ever since its evolution from the lute of the Middle Ages. Classical guitar music from maestros, such as Andres Segovia and Julian Bream, has enthralled audiences. Jazz guitar too has many fans, as exemplified by Herb Ellis and Charlie Christian. However, it is rock and pop music that has produced the most feted heroes and done most for the popularity of the Guitar as the instrument of choice for new young musicians.

- Audio Equipment - No matter what reasons you have for buying audio equipment, you have to think about quality before anything else. - Bass Amplifier - There are some very good cheap bass amps out there, but when you are using them you sometimes run into a problem. The bottom line is that you don't want to buy a cheap bass amp without enough power. You see, people are just simply not very good at hearing very low sounds. Our audio acuity in the bottom half of our range is much lower, so your bass amplifier needs to be able to pump out quite a bit of wattage. Otherwise, the lower end of the sonic spectrum will be all but inaudible when you play it.
- Rolling Stones Tickets - I had always wanted to buy Rolling Stones tickets, but it seemed like, whenever they came to town, I was busy with something else. The first time I ever wanted to go to a Rolling Stones concert was almost 10 years ago. One of my good friends was getting married, and it seem like a small sacrifice to skip a concert for the marriage. Nonetheless, when they didn't come around for a few years, I regretted missing a Rolling Stones show. I resolved to make sure to see them the next time they came around.
- Backing Tracks - Even if you are a professional musician, Getting a good session together can be a lot more difficult than it should be.
